| Diana Ganger has been named to the new position of director of community learning at Congregation Rodfei Zedek in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. A longtime Jewish educator, Ganger has served as director of the Moriah Childcare Center in Deerfield and program director of the Jewish Early Childhood Education Initiative.
Chicago native Steven Loterstein is among a group of 16 top 2009 Yeshiva University graduates chosen as Presidential Fellows in University and Community Leadership at the school. They will stay on campus for another year to build their professional skills while assisting in organizational roles at various departments in the institution. Loterstein is the son of Morris and Malka Loterstein.
The Ark's Medical Clinic recently received the 2009 Community Service Award from the Professional Nursing Staff Association of Rush University Medical Center. Ark volunteer and former board member Sandy Hasson, a Rush nurse and member of the organization, nominated the Ark. |
